How to password protect a directory via cPanel

How to protect a directory in cPanel:

1. Log into your cPanel account.
2. Look for Directory Privacy option
3. Click on the directory you want to protect by username and password.
4. On the new page that will open, complete the field Enter a name for the protected directory:  You can enter something like my area, protected area etc.
5. On the same page choose a Username and New Password. Click the Save button. From now on, you will need to enter the username and password when accessing that directory.
